One rainy Sunday afternoon, a girl, and many things to get done! That was me, the day I entered the doors of this cozy cafe located near Trafalgar Square. I went there around lunchtime and it was super busy.
I managed to find a small table (there are also shared tables) and ordered my Sunday usual: banana bread and a strong coffee. Notes cafe has reliable wifi, high ceilings, and a great brunch menu.
PRO TIP: If you can’t work in noisy spots, make sure to take some headphones along.

I’m a big fan of specialty coffee and to be honest I can’t work properly without a cup of good coffee by my side! This cafe located in Bloomsbury is perfect for anyone who’s remote working. It’s not so crowded and it has delicious pastries (the muffins are my favorites)!
The outdoor seating area is great for those of you who love the natural light while working. Inside the cafe, you’ll find a few power outlets, some high chair tables, and a comfortable couch.
PS, if you’re visiting the city and haven’t booked a hotel yet, check out our post on the best areas to stay in London!

Farringdon is famous for its coffee shops, and to be honest most of them serve excellent coffee! Prufrock is an independent coffee shop that has a laid-back atmosphere and it’s not too busy, except during lunchtime, but we’re in London, finding a good table at noon is like finding a needle in a haystack!
Buy food, order some excellent coffee and get comfy in those seating booths, you’re now ready to start replying to those long emails!

Host Coffee

I know the London coffee scene is pretty excentric but this one beats all of the rest! Fancy working in a church? Sir Christopher Wren, who built St Paul’s Cathedral is the brains behind Saint Mary Aldermary Church.
The Host Coffee shop still is a place of worship and one of the best places to work from in London. They have free wifi but you should call before to make a reservation if you plan to stay for more than 1.5 hours.

The perfect coffee shop for early birds! Their opening hours start at 8 am but they close at 3 pm. Espresso drinks, free wifi, and a long shared table where you can work. Sounds like the perfect setup for me!
The cafe is not too crowded, and they also have an outdoor seating area. It’s also a great spot to wait for your train, as St. Pancreas Station is just around the corner! If you’re planning a trip, I think you’ll love Cardiff, it’s a stunning city!

Nothing Hill coffee shops are packed with people, especially during the weekend. I recommend coming here early if you want to find a table.
The place isn’t so quiet as many people come here. My advice? Take your headphones! It will save your life! There are lots of small tables in the coffee shop, and some power sockets as well. They also sell coffee beans so make sure to check out their organic blends and buy a mix for those days when you’re too lazy to leave the house!

This neighborhood café has the cutest design and a great atmosphere! It has an upstairs and downstairs area. Guess in which one you’ll find tons of laptops?
Downstairs, of course, that’s where everyone goes to get work done as it’s a bit quieter but make sure you charge your laptop because they don’t have so many power sockets. Free wifi is on the house and of course, the coffee is super good!

The food here is yum&my! The coffee shop has small tables as well as long shared ones that you can use. There are a few power plugs on one of the walls so I would charge my laptop in case it’s too busy.
I love cafes with big windows (we all need more natural light while working), and this place has that in bucketloads. Bean & Hop Cafe has that laptop vibe, and most people respect that but it gets loud sometimes around noon. If you work until late, I suggest trying their craft beer!
