Into Indonesia
With over 17,000 islands across its territory, the southeast Asian nation of Indonesia is not one that’s easy to pigeon-hole. But across its islands there are a few consistencies, from its tropical climate to its habit of combining beaches, jungle and volcanoes to make incredibly memorable destinations.
Bali is easily the most popular island of Indonesia. There you can enjoy beaches, the local Hindu culture and gorgeous Ubud rice terraces. Then there’s the island of Java, home to epic volcanoes like Mount Bromo and mighty temples like Borobudur.
