Doing Denmark
Denmark may seem like quite a small Scandinavian county, but it’s best not to underestimate it. The capital Copenhagen is the main destination travelers visit, thanks to its grand palaces and pretty harbours, not to mention its recent wave of Michelin star restaurants.
But there’s much more to the country as well, thanks to attractions like the massive Roskilde Music Festival. Then there are Denmark’s interesting literary connections, from Hans Christian Andersen who wrote the “Little Mermaid” to Kronborg Castle where the play Hamlet is set.
