Explore Kaliningrad
Look at a map of Europe and it’s hard not to notice the city of Kaliningrad, a small pocket of Russia separated from the rest. This Russian exclave has a long and complicated history, something well worth learning about when visiting the city.
Many of the attractions in Kaliningrad relate to its position on the Baltic Sea, such as the Museum of the World Ocean which highlight the city’s maritime importance. Don’t miss the Amber Museum inside an old fortress which displays incredible amber artwork.
