Utah is a state located in the western United States, known for its majestic red rock canyons and arches, as well as its many ski resorts and ski trails. The state has a well-deserved reputation as an outdoor recreation mecca, with many national and state parks with remarkable scenery. It is also known for hosting the Winter Olympics in 2002.
