Invigorating Victoria
The southern state of Victoria is probably Australia’s most varied, offering up experiences from city getaways to beach trips and even a little skiing. But really, much of Victoria is covered by scrub and farmland, dotted with charming country towns and great bakeries.
Melbourne is the capital and main urban centre, home to European-style laneways and a booming coffee culture. Victoria’s coast is where you’ll find some of its best known attractions from the penguins at Philip Island to the beaches and surf spots along the Great Ocean Road.
