With its white sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and some of the most luxurious hotels you can imagine, the Maldives offer some of the best places to honeymoon. If you are after an upscale beach vacation surrounded by gorgeous nature, then this is the perfect choice for you.
Seeing as this is such a popular destination among honeymooners, there are plenty of honeymoon packages for you to choose from. The resort you’re staying at will probably offer you quite a few activities and spa treatments, but my top recommendations go out to scuba diving with the manta rays and a boat cruise around the islands.

You’ve probably seen those trending stories of Bali and wondered when it would be your turn to visit. Well, the honeymoon is an excellent opportunity! One of my favorite things about Bali is that there are countless amazing resorts and hotels available at affordable prices, so if you want a tropical getaway on a budget, Bali is the ultimate place to honeymoon.
While in Bali, you absolutely have to explore the lush jungle and visit the beaches that will surely take your breath away. If you’re up for some adventure, you can try various water sports – anything from snorkeling to surfing. Bali is very diverse and has plenty to offer, which is what makes it one of the best island honeymoon destinations.

You didn’t think I would make this list without including the City of Love? Well, of course, I had to talk about Paris! I had a tough time choosing what part of Portugal I should recommend, but in the end, I decided to go with the Algarve, the country’s picturesque Southern coast, which would be perfect for a beach getaway full of fun activities.
Here, you find Algar de Benagil (map), one of the best secluded beaches in the world, but also many other beaches, caves, and rock formations that will make you feel like you’ve been transported to another planet. There are also some great surfing spots along the coasts, so if you haven’t tried it yet, your Algarve honeymoon is the perfect opportunity.

11. Scottish Highlands, Scotland
If you’re not the type of person who wants to spend their honeymoon lounging on the beach and you prefer staying somewhere where you’ll be surrounded by serene and surreal nature, then I have just the destination for you – the Scottish Highlands.
