Any ideas about campsites near Yokohama? We are renting a camper van for the start of the Rugby World Cup and need somewhere to park it/sleep after the games.
Hi! As I didn’t go there myself, I don’t know what to recommend from my experience. But after a quick research I have found this Sunny RV Park. Their website is in Japanese so you’ll need to Google translate it, unfortunately. I heard it’s advised to book it at least one day in advance.
Other than this, as far as I understand you can camp in some parks but only with your tent, not a car and making a fire in the parks is strictly prohibited. But the one I recommend above is an RV park which is made for camping with cars.
